Work burnout is but the “little brother” of a spiritual brownout. We run out of energy when we are disconnected for so long from God’s word. If we could only understand our spiritual brownout, there would be no reason to lose hope. Just as saints are sinners who kept on going, successful people are nobodies who keep on trying.
